You know you like it by AlunaGeorge
I wasn’t very keen on this song at first but it has really grown on me! Feels like an updated 90s RnB dance song - there’s something nostalgic about it but it’s clearly fresh and new.
I still haven’t quite worked out the format of Music Mondays, it might take a few weeks for me to find my feet but for now enjoy the music!

Song from the West! To be incredibly honest this is not my favourite Scissor Sisters song, in fact this past week I’ve not been listening to any mainstream pop music at all, very very little of it is interesting me. That’s not to say that I don’t like pop music at all but at this very moment none of it is really floating my boat!
Only the Horses is a good radio/driving song or sounds like the soundtrack to an inspirational video montage. In terms of how this new Scissor Sisters album is shaping up, I definitely preferred the sound of it’s first single Shady Love.
First song from the East is quirky video by Kaela Kimura. Can’t seem to find a video on youtube (yet) so please click on the image or HERE to watch the video and listen to the song!
Kaela Kimura songs are always a bit hit and miss with me but one thing that I really like about her is that she looks like a typical pop princess but her music does not reflect that. Mamireru is fun and catchy and simply a great synth-pop-rock song that I would happily flail around to in a club.
